About MTM 2026
MTM Expo traces its origins to the Shanghai International Metallurgy Industry Exhibition, established in 1986. With nearly four decades of continuous development, MTM has grown into one of China’s most influential exhibitions in the steel and metallurgical industry. In 2026, MTM Expo will celebrate its 40th anniversary, having witnessed the full transformation of China’s steel industry from rapid expansion to high-quality development.
The 2026 MTM Expo is jointly organized by leading industry authorities and associations, including Baoshan Iron & Steel Group, the All-China Federation of Metallurgical Chambers, the China Refractories Industry Association, and other key professional organizations. The exhibition will comprise eight thematic sections covering Metallurgy, Refractories, Casting & Forging, Industrial Furnaces & Thermal Engineering, Steel Pipe, Metal Wire, Titanium/Magnesium/Copper, and Alloy Materials, presenting a comprehensive industry platform.

MTM Expo 2025 was successfully held from 2–4 December 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, bringing together 930 exhibitors and 31,589 professional visitors from 66 countries and regions, including 4,138 international visitors.
